Prayer Room and cyclists. As you will see from the insert we are hosting a group of cyclists next week who are raising awareness of and support for the persecuted church. As part of that there will be an information and prayer evening on Saturday May 27th at 7.30pm in St. Mary’s Hall.

Linking in with this event we will a have a dedicated prayer room in the small hall in St Mary’s from 9am—7.30pm on Saturday, 9am-10pm on Sunday (excluding worship service times) and 9am to 10pm on Monday.
The Archbishop of Canterbury has called upon Christians across all denominations in the UK to pray between Ascension (25th May) and Pentecost (June 4th). The campaign is called Thy Kingdom Come and more information can be found at This prayer room is our chance to be a part of this campaign.
The idea is that there is at least one person in the prayer room at all times. There will be resources available to help prayer: information about situations, people, events etc to pray for and the opportunity to just spend an hour in quiet and peace with God, in the midst of a busy weekend. Please sign up for an hour (or more) over the three days. There is no pressure to pray aloud or conform to any way of praying— it is purely a chance to set aside time to pray. The sign up sheet will be in the vestibule and at coffee. You can also phone Jane Fucella (229291) and she will add your name to it.

Feel free to pop in to have a look and spend a few minutes praying, even if you cannot manage a complete hour. Everyone is welcome!
